Mosaic Wonder

Hello.......One more post for tonight!  This card was made using the Mosaic embossing folder.  I love all the mosaic items from Stampin' Up.  I love the color in this card, plus my added butterflies!  I find myself using a lot of butterflies on my cards.  What is your "go to" in card making?  Happy Stampin'!

Elegant For You!

Good evening everyone!  Tonight's picture is another take on the "For You" card from the Chalk Talk stamp set.  This one is a very soft pink.  I love the way the flowers add an elegant touch.  This card would be perfect for multiple occasions!  Happy Stampin'!

Grateful for You

Good Morning everyone!  It is a start to another week.....it seems like the weekend isn't ever long enough....lol.  Today's card uses the Hexagon Hive die along with a sentiment from Chalk Talk.  I have also used the Beautiful Wings embosslit die with the Chevron Ribbon.  I hope you enjoy these little butterflies to brighten your day!

A card just For You

Here is a card that I struggled a bit with.....

I posted the original card and an updated version using some feedback from a couple of FB groups I belong to.

This card uses the Irresistably You DSP that was part of the Free items you could select during Stampin' Up  Sale-A-Bration 2015.  I loved it so much, I got three packages!  I also used the retiring Chalk Talk stamp set.

Here is my original:

Here is a tweaked version using feedback:

Hope you enjoy!

CYCI#67 - Mother's Day Challenge

Hello everyone...  Today's card was made for a "Can You Case It" challenge.  I used the Lullaby DSP from Stampin' Up.  I also used the Painted Petals photo-polymer stamp set for the sentiment.  Enjoy your day and my card!

Recycled Scraps :)

Hello.....my name is Kim and I am a paper hoarder!  Not just full sheets of paper.....leftovers.  I really hate to throw pieces away.  I am trying to get into the mind set of creating a limit.....but in the meantime, I wanted to use some of the smaller scraps for a card project. I came up with this card by weaving the scraps together and pasting small piece of white card stock to the back.  I used a pencil eraser to dot the background in Sahara Sand, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss ink.  I stamped my sentiment, placed my weave and added some butterflies cut out of Sahara Sand card stock.  The card base is Blackberry Bliss.  As my mother is the recycle queen, I hope this card gives you inspiration to use some of those scrap pieces in your creations.  Happy Stampin'!

SSIC#16 - Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!

Well three Thank You's may be a start......

I made this card for a challenge posted in one of the FB groups I belong to.  The challenge was to use Stampin' Up colors of Pacific Point, Cajun Craze and Sahara Sand.  I love the "can't thank you enough" sentiment.  This stamp was part of the new photo-polymer "Lovely Amazing You" Stampin' Up set.  This set is so cute!  I stamped the mini-envelopes in the challenge colors and added the hearts.  I cut the cards out by hand and staggered every other card with dimensionals.  The background is Whisper White card stock on a Sahara Sand card base.  I hope you enjoyed the card!  If so, please visit Simply Stamp It group in Facebook and comment.  Votes are counted by the comments.  Happy Stampin'!

Oh, Baby!

I love this card!  I made this card for a co-worker and his wife for their new addition.  I will definitely be making again to have on hand.  This card is made with the Stampin' Up Celebrate Today Stamp Set/Die bundle along with the Word Bubble Framelit Dies.  I love the way this particular Word Bubble die looks like a cloud.  The best part is that it is now marked down (while supplies last) as part of the retired products for the 2015 Catalog.  If you are interested in a catalog or would like to purchase items used in this card, please feel free to visit my site at:
