So many looks with the Bohemian DSP!

Wow, this week has flown by and the weekend was no exception!  Work has been a bit hectic so my crafting time has been curtailed a bit this week.  This weekend I have spent the majority of my time working with our apple trees and making delicious apple butter.....still in progress.  It seems this project will spill into the coming week, but will be delicious this winter.

I wanted to share a couple of recent cards I made that I hope brighten your day.  It certainly makes made me smile when created them.  Both of these cards use the Stampin' Up Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set, Bohemian DSP with coordinating card stock colors.

The first card uses the Bermuda Bay card stock with a Rich Razzleberry front that has been embossed using the Arrows embossing folder.  The Bohemian DSP has been fussy cut to accent the pattern of the papers.  I used the Bermuda Bay, So Saffron, Delightful Dijon and Rich Razzleberry inks for the Kinda of Eclectic images used for the face of the card.  I love the Lots of Labels Framelits set from the new catalog!

My second card uses the Dijon Delight card stock with the Bohemian DSP background, with accents of Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay.  I stamped the butterfly images in Rich Razzleberry, Delightful Dijon and Tip Top Taupe.

OSAT Blog Hop Christmas in July

Happy Thursday everyone!  Welcome to this month's One Stamp at a Time (OSAT) Blog Hop.  I was very excited to participate in last month's hop.  This month's blog theme is "Christmas in July".  I know that you have already seen some great cards and projects from our other blog hop participants, and I hope that you will visit all of the creative individuals' blogs for more inspiration.

This month I created several 3 x 3 cards to coordinate with my project, which is a box to house the cards.  This would be a perfect gift for co-worker's, teachers or even as items to sell at upcoming craft shows.  The card box holds several cards, but for this challenge I made three different cards as examples.

The first card uses Stampin' Up's  Festival of Tree's Photopolymer stamp set with the matching Tree punch. I layered the background trees by stamping off a couple of images to give the card the lighter shaded trees.  For the final tree, I stamped on a separate piece of Whisper White and used the dotted image to add the red accents for the tree decorations.  I raised the image with Stampin' Up Dimensionals.  For a bit of shimmer I dotted clear Dazzling Details on the red tree decorations, background trees and on the Whisper White to represent falling snow.

The second card uses the Stampin' Up Wondrous Wreath Photopolymer stamp set along with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits.  I love the way this set layers the colors and berries.  I stamped the sentiment separately and fussy cut in order to place in the lower right corner.  The card stock was embossed with the new Elegant Dots embossing folder.  The wreath was accented with 1/8" silver ribbon.  I coordinated all the cards and gift box by using Whisper White, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive card stock and inks.

For the last card I used a Whisper White card base and the Stampin' Up Dotty Angles stamp in Real Red.  Accent pieces were added by using the Decorative Label and the large Oval Punch, with a touch of gold metallic thread.  The sentiment was stamped on a separate piece of whisper white.  I then divided the sentiment and added the banner edges by using the 1" square punch.

For the project portion of the challenge, I made a matching gift box to store the 3x3 card sets.  I used a tutorial from Pootles, which I have listed below.

As with the other projects, I used the Dotty Angles Stamp Set and the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set.
After using the framelits to complete the wreath, I used the silver ribbon to accent the box.
