Stampin' Friends - November Happy Holidays Hop!

Welcome everyone!  Today is blog hop day!  This week I am hopping along with my buddies at the Stampin' Friends Blog Hop.  If you are visiting all the blogs, you have just arrived from Robyn's page.  I hope that you are enjoying all the creations and that mine will not disappoint!

As the holiday's are fast approaching, now is the time to think about making those handmade greeting and gift card holders.

As I recently attended a Stampin' Up event, I needed to create a gift card holder for a organized swap I was participating in.  With my life running at the speed it is, of course I didn't begin my gift card holder until 8:00 the night before..... eek!  I guess I work better under pressure.  I finally dozed off about 2:00 in the morning, but I was able to create 20 of them for swapping.

In coming up with my GC creation, I decided to use items from the Stampin' Up Holiday catalog.  I loved the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and the coordinating builder punch so much, I made a greeting card using the same stamp set and DSP accents to create the greeting card.

For the card front and the base of the GC holder I used the crumb cake card stock.  Basic black and real red were my accent color combination.  There are so many beautiful designs on the Candy Can Lane designer series paper.  I used my blender pen to color in the antlers of my Reindeer and of course he had to be Rudolph!

My gingerbread man was a little spiffy with a bow tie and a touch of bling with the rhinestone accent.  The real red stitched edge ribbon was used as a decorative piece as well as the pull tab as it wrapped around the gift card.  Isn't the mini jingle bell adorable?  The best part of this card holder is that I could cut 4 out of one sheet of card stock.

I hope you have enjoyed my items that I have shared.  Be sure to leave a comment for an opportunity to win multiple prizes.  Hop along with the rest of the gang!  Be sure to include #SFNovHop as part of your comments.  For every blog you comment on with the hash tag, the more chances you have to win!   It is almost like Christmas!!!  Ha ha!

We would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season.  Enjoy your friends and family!  As always, Happy Stampin'!

OSAT Blog Hop - Let it Snow

Welcome to the November One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop!  Can you believe that we are already in November.....bling and it will be 2017... eek!

I am happy you decided to join in following along with this month's hop.  The theme for this month is "Let it Snow".

With this challenge I decided to go with a non-traditional color combination that we used in a recent demonstrator meeting with my up line - Diane Squires.

The colors I used were Sweet Sugarplum, Smoky slate and of course Whisper White.  The Flurry of Wishes was the stamp set used to create this cute snowflake card.

I accented the sentiment by embossing in silver on vellum and attaching to the front of the smoky slate card stock.

I added a little bling to the card by attaching rhinestones to the middle of the snowflakes.

I continued with the silver accents with the addition of the ribbon to the side of the vellum pennant.

As the holiday's are quickly approaching I decided to do a coordinating gift card holder.   I love the way this holder has a sliding insert that holds the gift card.

I am so glad that you decided to join us for this month's blog hop.  I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!  If you would like a new catalog annual catalog, holiday catalog or would like an upcoming Stampin' Up Occasions catalog, please let me know.  I will be happy to send one your way.

OSAT Blog Hop - Birthdays Bash

OSAT 2016 Blog Hop Banner.jpg

Good Morning!  I hope everyone is enjoying this FABULOUS Thursday!  I am so glad that you are joining us today for the One Stamp at a Time September Blog Hop.  The theme for this month's hop is "Birthdays"!

I have been on a card making hiatus and am so excited to finally begin to get back to normal when I can enjoy making different creations.  I have had all these new goodies sitting around from my recent 2016-2017 Stampin' Up catalog purchase, but sadly no time to play :(.

I really love the Floral Boutique DSP and made a birthday card earlier this week and thought I would continue on with one of the different prints from the package.

I love the night of navy with the touch of Regal Rose.  I used two separate stamp sets - Rose Wonder and Penned & Painted.  I colored the little pearls on the card with the Regal Rose marker and also accented the stamped flowers of the top portion of the gift box.  To create the flip top box, I used the gift bag punch board and a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 whisper white card stock.  I think it turned out so cute!

I finished up the card with an added paper doily and white satin ribbon.  The gift box was accented with pennants created by the triple banner punch and the bitty butterfly punch with pearl centers.

I am so glad that you have visited my blog and hope that you will continue to hop along with us by clicking the next button below to visit Lori's blog or click the links below to visit the other hoppers.

Until next month...... Happy Stampin'! :)

OSAT Blog Hop - Dog Days of Summer

OSAT 2016 Blog Hop Banner.jpg

Good Morning!

So glad you could join us today for this month's OSAT Blog Hop.  This month our theme is "Dog Days of Summer".  We have three wonderful guest hoppers joining us this month.

Tracy Elsom
Rick Adkins

Please be sure to check out their blog and show some love.

When I think of the "Dog Days of Summer" I always think of that last getaway before school.  What better getaway than going to the beach.  On that note, I decided to create a beach themed card and project this month.

I cracked open my new Stampin' Up Seaside Shore stamp set to create this adorable underwater scene.  This card would be a nice thank you for someone who house sat or took care of your animals while you were getting in that last trip.

One of my favorite things to do at the beach is to walk the shoreline and collect shells of all sorts.  I accented my photos with some of the shells my daughter and I picked up on our last beach trip.  It is so relaxing to me.

To coordinate with the beach-thank you theme, I created a little gift box to go along with the card.  This is the perfect container to use for a smaller gift such as a ring or a pair of earrings to show your appreciation.

As we move towards the end of summer, I hope to be able to take some time off and enjoy it with our friends and family!

Follow along with the rest of the group and see what awesome creations they have came up with.  To make it easier, you can click the next button to go to Pam's page or click the names in the listing below.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects and as always - Happy Stampin'!

Stampin' Friends - No Rules June Blog Hop

Welcome everyone!  Today is the day!  Time for our monthly Stampin' Friends Blog Hop.  If you are following along with the hop, you have just arrived from Barbara's Hop.

    http://creativestampinspot.blogspot.com/2016/06/stampin-friends-june-blog-hop_16.html

Don’t forget to click the Next button at the bottom to continue on the hop with Stacey’s blog.

This month we have some awesome guest hoppers.
Please make sure to stop by their blog and show some love.

This months' theme is "No Rules" - yea!  We can create what ever we want.

With Father's Day just around the corner and both my daughter and husband's favorite past-time being the same, I decided to go with a Golf theme.

After visiting Pinterest for some inspiration, I decided to CASE this card and project.  The card turned out so cute.  I used the Cucumber Crush green card stock for both the background and the spot of grass that the "Tee" is stationed on.  I cut the "Tee" out by hand from Cherry Cobbler.  I used a 1 1/2 inch circle punch and cut out the "Golf Ball" and embossed with a retired folder.

I think that the combination of the card with "Tee Time Fees" and the adorable container for the balls and tees make the perfect Father's Day gift, don't you?

I think that this gift would make for the perfect Daddy/Daughter day!

I used an empty Tissue Paper roll as the base for this project and covered it with Cherry Cobbler card stock.  I cut 2 - 2 inch  coordinating  DSP circles and slightly snipped all around each circle.

I then cut strips of the DSP to glue around the edges.  I used the top of the container to help bend over the snipped edges to glue the strips around to make the cap on both the top and bottom of the gift container.  Using the same DSP and card stock I added the "Golf Bag" handle and side pocket.

I certainly hope you enjoyed my items that I've shared.  Be sure to leave a comment for an opportunity to win multiple prizes.  Hop along with the rest of the gang and leave a comment with #SFJuneHop to have more chances to win!

    As always, Happy Stampin!

OSAT Blog Hop - Summer Lovin

    OSAT 2016 Blog Hop Banner.jpg

Welcome to this month's OSAT blog hop.  Wow, the month has flown by... I was caught off guard by all the year end activities with school.

This month's theme is Summer Lovin'!  I received my order from the new Stampin' Up catalog on Wednesday and haven't had a lot of time to go thru and ponder what I will make with all of it, but I did use one of the new sets to create my card this month.  When I think of summer, I think of the outdoors.  Summer definitely brings loads of bugs!

I love this stamp set with the Lady Bug's.  I have challenged myself that in creating new cards, I must use some of my paper pieces I have collected.  Yes, I am a paper hoarder! I used some of the smaller pieces for the pennant to stamp the image and sentiment.  I used accent pieces from my "stash" and used a strip of patterned paper along with a small piece of black card stock.  I used some smaller pearls and colored them with the Cherry Cobbler marker and used the marker to color the lady bug image.

For my project, I created a matching Lady Bug box from the Curvy Keepsake die set.  Again I used the Cherry Cobbler and Black Card Stock.  Black archival ink and daubers were used to make the pattern on for the wings.

I hope you have enjoyed my creations for this month's hop.  Be sure to check out all the awesome creations the team has for this month.  Next up is Lori!  You can reach her blog by clicking the next button below or follow any of the hoppers at the links provided.

    OSAT Blog Hop May Flowers

Good Morning!  Welcome to the One Stamp at a Time May Blog Hop!  I love that the weather is warming up!  This month we are having a spring fling as our theme is flowers!

If you are joining me from Dena's blog, I am so glad you continued on.  There are so many awesome creations this month.  Please be sure to visit them all and comment to show some love.

When I think of spring time and flower blooms, I always think of the bees that help pollinate and create all these lovelies!

With that in mind, I used the used the color theme of yellow and black.  I decided to use the Stampin 'Up set "Garden in Bloom" for this month's card creation.

I love the soft colors that the So Saffron and Hello Honey colors add to the blooms.  I used Pear Pizzazz for the leaves and added a cute little bee to buzz around.

This card would surely brighten someone's day.... it is just so cheery!

In keeping with my color scheme and to generate a little more buzz (he...he) ....... I created a sidekick for my card.

I love this cute little bee using the Curvy Keepsake die set.  I believe this bee may have a hard time pollinating the flower on the top.

I first cut out the box from basic black card stock and added the stripes by cutting strips of So Saffron and gluing them to the sides.

I did up cycle on this card and punched the "wings" from a clear plastic cover from the front of a toy box!  I love how you can incorporate various items into creations.

I hope you have enjoyed my creations and will continue to visit all the other bloggers that have joined us.
